About

Sahilah Ain Sathakathulla is an experienced cyber crime scientist. Her field of forte is social criminology, cybercrime; victim intervention & political philosophy with a forte in holistic cyberspace policy and AI crime legislation, focusing in shariah jurisdiction. Her current research interests are AI Governance, Humanistic Future. She is also a member of International Criminology Association (ICA), an esteemed criminology association based in Dublin, Ireland and South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology (SASCV).  She provided pro-bono consultations to cybercrime relevant departments in cybercrime at Royal Malaysian Police and concurrently writing a book on holistic cyberspace policy and AI criminology.

Professional Career

Previously, she served as secretary in PeBS Kota Anggerik, a youth division under Selangor State Sports Council. Currently, she is in service as Secretary to Puan Sri Fatini, the noble writer of Natrah in Yayasan Kasih Tauhid.

Besides being crime scientist and secretary, Sahilah wrote poem. Among the poems she had written were: Tekat Disulam Santun, Hikmah Sebalik Fikir in Antologi Puisi Rejuvenasi Cinta di bulan Januari and Pedang Bemata Dua in Antologi Puisi Bila YB Dipalu Kompang. Other than that, she criticized politicians in Fokus.my and Myphilsoc. She is busy catching deadlines for her book chapter writeups and conferences by multitasking and synchronized schedules.

Every fourth week of the months, Sahilah provide free foods and tutorials for human sciences diploma and bachelor’s degree students at Tuanku Bainun Library, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Tanjung Malim. Sahilah also provide voting education for under-18 students so they shall be well equipped to vote for the right candidates. For her, putting wrong person shall make a future bleak and as an alumnus, she felt it is a part of her responsibility to guide those who needs dire help.

Notable Works

She is the creator of holistic cyberspace policy; a policy is yet to created globally and described the fundamental core to be done. She also founded a division in cybercriminology named AI Criminology, in which she is preparing a comprehensive mitigation plan for shariah legislations and jurisprudence in order to prevent the extinction of humanity. She acknowledged that change is inevitable, and only time shall tell. So, before else, be armed.
